Sometimes all we need is a change of scenery to reset and refocus and get some new inspiration.
I like getting away for little breaks to get some inspiration to design new Fitness bracelets, fitness keyrings and fitness necklaces.
I just spent the weekend away at the surf coast, which has given me some ideas for new colours, styles and fitness charms for the next collection.
Beautiful blues of the ocean and textures like the sand will make an appearance in the latest No Limits fitness jewellery collection.
Getting away allows me to escape the hustle and bustle of busy Melbourne life. It allows me to stop and think and get close to nature, which grounds me and helps me get the creative juices flowing again so that I can come up with some fresh fitness jewellery designs.
Most of us have such busy lives, we rarely take the time to slow down and just be comfortable relaxing and with our own thoughts. But this is such an important thing to do.
I also find that getting away also has a positive effect on my training. Taking a short break from the gym gives the body a break, as well as giving the mind some much needed down time. Sometimes rest days can be hard to take because we are so committed to our routine, however to progress, we must rest!
Think about it, we grow when we rest, not while we are training, so its just as important to rest, as it is to train. we need to find a good balance.
I have learnt that also personal growth seems to happen when we stop! When we can hear ourselves think, we can make plans, set goals and assess where we would like our lives to change.
I take my time out to think about where I would like to head with my business, my training, and my life.
Usually for business I like to set goals at this time, but I also think about designing new fitness styles. I look at current fashion trends for activewear and try to work my fitness jewellery designs in with those trends.
What do you do to rest up and plan for your future goals?
Do you allow yourself enough rest to let your body and mind recover?
Do you set intentions regularly or do you just go with the flow?
I think many of us are guilty of avoiding challenges and hoping for the best. I know I have been! But I am learning how important it is not to bury our heads in the sand and to tackle challenges head on by problem solving. Its never as difficult as we think it is! we just need to focus on our goals and work through any challenges that may stop us achieving them.
I think I'm a little guilty of going off track here! lol oops!
Basically I'm trying to share how important it is for us to relax, regroup and recover so we can continue working towards our goals.
I seem to always feel great after spending a couple of days on the coast. Its enough to get me re motivated to get stuff done and designing more great No Limits fitness pieces that I can shre with you all.
